How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Excuse Me → Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
I'm not getting good excuses. What can I do?
Try adding more detail in the "Describe your situation" field, or hit Remix for a different version. Different personas (Classic / Doctor / Lawyer) work better for different contexts. If you still can't get one you like, email us with the scenario and we'll look into it.
My free trial ended but I was charged. Why?
Free trials auto-convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled at least 24 hours before they end. Refund requests are handled by Apple — go to reportaproblem.apple.com to request one.
Does Excuse Me store my excuses on your servers?
No. Excuse inputs are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for generation, but we don't keep a copy. If you're a Pro user and save an excuse, it's stored locally on your device only. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Android is on the roadmap once we hit 1,000 active iOS subscribers. If you want it sooner, tell your iPhone friends to subscribe.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open Excuse Me → Settings → Restore Purchase. As long as you're signed into the same Apple ID, your Pro access will be restored automatically.
